María de la Fuente
Predoctoral Researcher
Master in Genetics and Cell Biology
Graduated in Biology
María graduated in Biology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2015. During her final degree project -Study of the involvement of Ang II in the development of pulmonary arterial hypertension in PSGL-1 KO and P-Selectin KO mice-, used various immunohistochemical techniques.
She later studied the Master’s Degree in Genetics and Cell Biology, a joint master’s degree between the Madrid universities: Autónoma de Madrid, Complutense de Madrid and Universidad de Alcalá. During her master’s studies she evaluated the expression of angiotensin, endothelin and their receptors in the lung of mice deficient in PSGL-1 and P-selectin.
In 2018, she has completed the University Expert course in Medical Genetics at the European School of Sciences and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
