PhD in Biomedical Research, Cajal-CSIC Institute. Master in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine, UCM. Graduated in Biology, UAM.
Elsa is a PhD in Biomedical Research specializing in Neuropharmacology, with extensive experience in molecular and cellular biology, as well as biochemistry. She has worked at the Cajal Institute (CSIC) where she did his doctoral thesis focusing on the role of the HINT1 and sigma 1 receptor proteins in the cross-regulation between receptors coupled to G proteins and NMDA receptors, as well as their involvement in motor and mental disorders. She has done a post-doctoral stay at the Universidad Complutense-CIBERNED during 2021.
